Raw South African honey in a larger household tub. It is coarsely strained and packed without heating. The 1.5kg tub works out at about R213 per kilogram.

Crystallisation is normal

The honey may become thick or grainy over time. Stand the closed tub in warm water to loosen it, or use it as a spread while it is set.

Storage

Keep the tub closed in a cupboard at room temperature. Use a dry spoon and keep water out of the tub.
