This honey is collected from South African hives, coarsely strained and packed without heating. Its colour and flavour can change with the flowers available to the bees.
Raw honey may become thick or set firm in the jar. Stand the closed jar in warm water and stir it once it loosens. Do not microwave or boil the honey.
Add it to toast, oats, yoghurt or tea. Let boiling water cool slightly before adding raw honey.
Keep the jar closed at room temperature and use a dry spoon. Honey is not suitable for children under twelve months.
