Shilajit seeps from rock seams high in the Himalayas over centuries, as plant matter compresses between the layers. It is scraped from the rock, purified and filtered, and sold as a soft black resin. Nothing is manufactured and nothing is added. Because it comes out of rock, and rock carries heavy metals, purification is the entire question.
Shilajit has a long history of traditional use. Human studies are still small and mostly tested standardised extracts rather than resin. We do not claim that PurePharm treats or cures disease.
Each batch is tested at an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory before it is packed.
Heavy metals by AOAC 999.10/11. Fulvic acid by titration. Moisture by AOAC 925.10. Ash by AOAC 923.03. Solubility by gravimetric method.
Reports remain published after a batch sells through, so you can always go back to the report for the batch you bought.

Trials have generally run for eight to twelve weeks with a few dozen participants.
